Teacher Preparation is collecting old photos/selfies for our 50th. Photos will be published on social media, website, and future events.

Taking a Selfie - Make sure:

  • The photo should ideally be taken with a good quality device that is stable

  • Taken in portrait/vertical mode.

  • You’re easy to recognize.

  • You’re the only one in the picture.

  • There’s a head-and-shoulders view, with the entire face, both eyes, and hair clearly visible.

  • You’re in focus.

  • There are no dark spots or shadows.

Submitting an Old Photo:

  • Scan in high resolution (300 dpi) and email to tprep@princeton.edu or,

  • Mail a high-quality copy of your photo to the Office of Teacher Preparation, 41 William St. Princeton, NJ 08540

Emailed photos  must be either a  .jpg, .tiff, or .png

SHORT VIDEO

We are also collecting short 3- minute videos that we will compile into a larger video for the 50th celebration in April.

Filming Instructions:

  • Videos must be taken in portrait/vertical mode.

  • The recording device should be steady and have limited amount of background noise.

  • You should be easy to recognize  and the only person in the video.

  • There’s a head-and-shoulders view, with the entire face, both eyes, and hair clearly visible.

  • Videos should be no more than 3 minutes.

Before speaking:

  1. Wait 2 seconds before clearly speaking your full name

  2. Say your undergraduate major(s)/minor(s), 

  3. Your graduation year, and 

  4. Your TPP cohort year.

 

Suggested Topics:

  • Funny and poignant stories about your time in TPP

  • How are you using your TPP Certificate now?

  • How has your TPP experience impacted your teaching?

  • How has your TPP certificate impacted you/your work?

  • TPP programs that you participated in.

Email your video to tprep@princeton.edu in .mp4 format.

Teacher Preparation is seeking a catchphrase that captures the spirit of our program for over 50 years.

Catchphrases will be published on social media, website, and for future events.The best catchphrase will be printed on our special edition 50th t-shirts and TPP swag bags.
